Danielle's Law School Graduation- May 2017

Danielle worked a full-time job while going to law school at American University and then capped it off with one of my favorite shoots I have done to date. She chose the location, I went out early that morning to scout and realized we were super lucky.... the streets were completely blocked off for a race. So there were VERY few tourists in the area and we got to shoot right in the streets.

**Photographer's Thoughts**
So Danielle doesn't know this, but I was super nervous to do this shoot. I spent the whole weekend with her and her family and friends capturing moments and events throughout the weekend, but the shoot had me nervous.
For one, I was breaking in a new lens (one I had been waiting to buy for like a year). Two, Danielle is one of the most stylish people I know, so I wanted the photos to reflect that. But she is also a woman who owns more sneakers than most men, but can rock a pair of heels without skipping a beat. I made sure we got to capture both sides of that.
